Tondano, August 2025 — Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at Universitas Negeri Manado (UNIMA) in 2025 was successfully conducted in a smooth and enthusiastic manner. The event, held on August 11–15, 2025, served as an important opportunity for new students to gain a deeper understanding of the academic environment, campus culture, and the core values upheld at Universitas Negeri Manado.
ACTIVITY SERIES
The series of activities began on August 11 and 12, 2025 with the Pre-PKKMB at the Faculty level, which focused on initial orientation and preparation for new students before participating in the main program. On August 13, 2025, the activities continued with the University-level PKKMB, attended by the UNIMA leadership. During this stage, new students received various introductory materials about the university. One of the most exciting highlights was the inter-faculty cheer competition, where each faculty showcased their synergy, creativity, and solidarity. The Faculty of Engineering stood out, with enthusiastic new students demonstrating strong unity and pride in their faculty.
Subsequently, the activities continued at the Faculty of Engineering on August 14 and 15, 2025. The PKKMB program at the Faculty level was conducted in an orderly and vibrant atmosphere, involving hundreds of new students from various departments. The organizing committee consisted of representatives from multiple departments, including the Department of Information and Communication Technology Education (PTIK), which actively contributed to the organization.
On the final day, August 15, 2025, after completing the faculty-level activities, new students were directed to their respective departments for introductory sessions. At the PTIK Department, the session was conducted with great enthusiasm. New students were welcomed by department leaders, lecturers, and the HMJ PTIK board, and were introduced to the department profile, organizational structure, academic activities, and opportunities for competency development in technology and education. After the departmental session, all participants returned to the faculty to attend the official closing ceremony of the Faculty of Engineering PKKMB 2025.
CLOSING
With the successful completion of the entire series of Universitas Negeri Manado PKKMB 2025, especially within the Faculty of Engineering, it is expected that new students will develop a strong sense of pride, enthusiasm for learning, and high motivation to achieve. For new students of the Department of Information and Communication Technology Education (PTIK), this moment serves as an important starting point to adapt, understand the academic environment, and build professional character and integrity in the field of educational technology.
